News and Product Reviews

For those of you who like the size and ease of playability of Blueridge 000-sized guitars, you might want to check out our new 12-fret 000 versions. A really great tone and an excellent choice for finger-style play. Check out this review of the BR-72 by our friends at Acoutic Guitar Magazine and see why!

GLADIATOR ELECTRIC GUITAR - MODERN SERIES - T-STYLE

GLADIATOR ELECTRIC GUITAR - MODERN SERIES - T-STYLE

This is the fabled T-style guitar—that changed the course of music forever! Our new interpretation retains all the essential features that made this guitar great—the beautifully contoured solid body and simple, straight-forward electronics and hardware. We’ve added our own signature peghead shape with contoured edge painted to match the body color. Authentic custom solid body colors are available as well as classic sunbursts. The slim, fully-adjustable maple neck is a players’ delight, while our better models feature powerful Wilkinson pickups. We think you’ll find these new Gladiators to be the hottest value on today’s market!

KENTUCKY MASTER MODEL A-MODEL MANDOLIN

KENTUCKY MASTER MODEL A-MODEL MANDOLIN

In the Classic Era of American Mandolins there was a single example of a Lloyd Loar master model mandolin produced in the A-style. The original being one half of a set of two mandolins commissioned in the early 1920's that also included the more commonly know Loar F-style master model. It was said that the A-style was chosen specifically by the lady of the house because its symmetrical pear-shaped body without points or scroll was more comfortable to hold and play. Because only one mandolin of this type was ever produced, that original instument has risen to mythical status and many makers have tried to replicate it unsuccessfully until now! Every discriminating player and collector dreams of owning that original instrument, and now it is possible in the new KM-900!
