Introducing, the new KM-1000 LTD… a true masterpiece in design, playability and sound that will immediately take you back to a time when mandolin design was at its pinnacle, setting the standard for all player expectation to come.
From its rare and limited availably, AAA-grade flamed Northern maple used for the back, sides, and neck, to the close-grained hand-carved and graduated Adirondack spruce top – with meticulously shaped and positioned tone bars – culminates in a professional-quality mandolin with a rich, clear tone that has plenty of power and volume for any playing style or venue. The choice ebony fingerboard is without radius and is fitted vintage-style nickel-silver frets and has an adjustable truss rod for a lifetime of control and stability. Each model also features an adjustable, and moveable ebony bridge for perfect intonation, and limitless action adjustments for playability. Reverse tuners with high-ratio gears provide tuning stability, while the nickel-plated brass tailpiece with logo’ed removable cover makes for easy strings changes and completes the traditional appearance of the hardware. Top it off with a translucent vintage sunburst in a luxurious, high-gloss nitrocellulose finish and you truly have an instrument with a look as stunning and impressive as its sound.
