Prudencio Saez PS-22-S Flamenco Guitar
Since 1963, in Valencia, Spain, Prudencio Saez has been handcrafting the finest Spanish Classical guitars by the old traditional methods. Saga Musical Instruments is proud to offer thirteen Saez models that have the look, the sound and the charm inherent in all true Spanish guitars – while the prices are very reasonable! The Prudencio Saez PS-22-S is an authentic Flamenco guitar specifically designed for the characteristic explosive attack of each note combined with each note’s immediate decay for clarity in fast passages. The top, of choice solid spruce, is very thinly worked with light but strong bracing to achieve the traditional Flamenco sound. The back and sides are solid cypress – the wood of choice in two centuries of Flamenco guitar building. The slim, well-proportioned neck is of solid Spanish cedar and the playing action is designed to be very low to facilitate fast technique. Tasteful wood purfling borders the top and back and the soundhole rosette is an intricate, multi-colored wood mosaic in the best Spanish tradition. The fingerboard is African ebony and the bridge is polished Indian rosewood. Tuning machines are gold-plated and the entire guitar is finished in a transparent natural gloss with a transparent pickguard to protect the treble side of the soundboard. If you want a true Flamenco guitar with the authentic tone and lightness of build the artist expects, you must try the PS-22-S from Prudencio Saez!
