BLUERIDGE HISTORIC SERIES 12-STRING GUITAR - ROSEWOOD

Introducing the new Blueridge BR-160-12! It recalls the Classic American guitars made in the late 1940’s with its incurved waist and super-jumbo shape, but its flowing lines are unique to this model. The top is solid, close-grained spruce and the back and sides are of solid East Indian Rosewood. Herringbone wood inlay borders the top and the pickguard is our own “Dalmatian” imitation tortoise shell.

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of Bill Monroe’s extraordinary life and contribution to all forms of music, including his pioneering role in the creation of a new form of traditional American music known as Bluegrass, Saga Musical Instruments proudly introduces the Limited Edition Bill Monroe Centennial Kentucky Master F-model Mandolin. Only the finest, figured Michigan maple and Adirondack spruce—harvested from exactly the same forests that supplied the original wood used in master level mandolins produced during the early 1920’s will be used in the construction of each instrument. We believe that this exceptional mandolin is highest level instrument that we have developed to date. Every professional mandolin player, fan of Bill Monroe and his music, and every instrument collector will want this exclusive, Limited-Edition masterpiece.
